Q1. How long does the scent of fragrance accessories last?
What if I want to change the scent?

A. The duration of the fragrance varies depending on the type and concentration of perfume or essential oil, but if you apply the fragrance in the morning, it will usually last all day until night. When the fragrance evaporates and becomes diluted, you can add the next fragrance.

Q2. What should I do if I'm unsure about which size fragrance ring to choose?

A. If you cannot find the exact size you need, please choose a size larger than your actual finger size. The inside of the ring has a glassy glaze that acts as a non-slip surface, so there is no need to worry about it falling off. If the ring is too small, it may crack due to the stress it puts on and off.

Q3. Can I exchange the size of my fragrance ring?

A. Yes. As long as the item is unused, we will inspect the condition of the returned item and send you a replacement free of charge. Please contact us at thankyou@jodan.jp. (Please note that the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs for the return of the item.)

Q4. Can I wash my hands while wearing the fragrance ring?

A. The scent may fade when it comes into contact with water, but it is possible. When cooking, we recommend removing the container to maintain quality, as it comes into contact with cooking utensils and other items more frequently.

Q5. How long will it take for my product to arrive after I place my order?

A. Generally, we make products to order, and if an item is not in stock, it will be delivered in approximately 4 to 7 weeks from the date of your pre-order from our online shop.
Items that are in stock will be shipped within 10 days, excluding long holiday periods.

Q6. I would like to know how the fragrance ring changes over time.

A. Due to the characteristics of the material, the light beige color will gradually pick up dirt as you use it, and it will blend into a greige-like color (see the photo below, from the ring on the right to the ring on the left). As the coloring, including the colors of perfumes and essential oils, builds up, it gradually takes on a unique look. We hope you will enjoy this unique look, but if you don't like the changes that occur over time, we think you'll be more satisfied with the dark gray color, which does not show dirt as much.

Q7. Is there anything I can do if the stains really bother me?

A. You can lightly sand it down with fine sandpaper, but be careful not to sand it down too much as this will affect the thickness.

Q8. Can I use scents I have on hand other than Jodan fragrances and essential oils?

A. Yes, we can also add fragrances from other manufacturers.
The Jodan scent has been carefully formulated to avoid over-coloring, so please feel free to use it if you like.
